- Heavy Metal Official Design Software - This is the official BattleMech design program, also known as Heavy Metal Pro.
- Camo Specs Online - This is an all-volunteer effort to bring to the BattleTech community the official paint schemes employed by every faction of the BattleTech universe.

- BattleTech Universe is an up-and-coming Web site dedicated to providing BattleTech
fans with opportunities not found on most other BattleTech Web sites.
Their forums are populated by friendly people who often go out of their way
to provide answers and services to people of all experience levels. Forum
members can also earn store credit on products offered by Exodus Road Hobbies.

it is mainly an online Technical Readout site, this site has much more to offer.

- ComStar Historical Archive
- The ComStar Historical Archives project is a fan-based encyclopedia
for the BattleTech/MechWarrior universe (hereafter referred to simply as BattleTech).
All entries in the encyclopedia are researched by the fans.
- MechGround.com - MechGround.com
is the ultimate source for on-line Technical Readout information. You must register for
their forum before you can view their technical readouts (the site is presented in a forum
format).
- MegaMek - This
is an unofficial on-line version of the BattleTech table-top game. MegaMek
is an open-source free software licensed under the GPL.
- Patrick’s BattleTech Archive
- This is one of the largest BattleTech archives on the
Internet. It used to be updated on a regular basis; the most current information
is from the 3058-3062 era. Do not expect a major update to this site soon.
- Sarna.net - This is
also one of the largest BattleTech Archives on the net. It also deals
with other games besides BattleTech.
- Solaris 7 - One of the
ultimate sources for BattleTech today.

Archive - Definitely the best place to go for information on most of the
the available 'Mechs (3067 has yet to be set up here).

- This site has loads of information regarding BattleTech. Their BattleTech

- Clan Wolf Archives
- The Clan Wolf Archives is the largest and most comprehensive source of sourcebook information
on the Clan of Kerensky, Clan Wolf. The site has experienced several upheavals over the
past few years, and is currently in the process of rebuilding. Their forums are available
to anyone who wishes to join. Currently, the sourcebook information can be found by clicking
on the "Clan Archives" section.
- Clan Ghost Bear
- This site mostly deals with the history and current state of Clan Ghost
Bear - check out the Ghost Bear info center. You can also find general information
about the BattleTech universe, a gallery with BattleTech related images (you
can find some cool pics well worth to be a good desktop) and and some coverage
about the current BT computer games...
The Inner Sphere
- The Armed Forces of the Federated Suns - The AFFS Web
site is a fan designed and operated Web site dedicated to the Federated Suns faction of the
Battletech universe. The purposes of this site are to provide a source of information about the
Federated Suns and BattleTech in general, and to provide a place for fans of the game to share their
creations (such as the Capellan Confederation's "Limp Sword" insignia).
- Draconis Combine Resource Center
- All the information needed to run the Draconis Combine during the
Fourth Succession War (circa 3025) along with information on the other Houses. Also the
new home for the Solaris7 BattleTech League.
